I am looking candidate for my direct client for below mentioned position. We have an immediate opening for a MongoDB professional with our Direct Client in Bowie MD. This is a hands-on position, and will including the design, development, deployment and support of MongoDB databases/DB projects. Expertise in additional database technologies including SQL Server is required. MongoDB DBA with additional experience in SQL Server to support migration to emerging technologies with responsibilities including: · Deploy and maintain MongoDB databases/DB projects · Provide Mongo DBA leadership across several disciplines. · Manage and maintain all MongoDB servers across multiple environments. · In-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets and sharding · Design & implement sharing and indexing strategies for MongoDB · Implement and maintain MMS (MongoDB Management Services) · Administer MongoDB to achieve 100% availability · Experience with MongoDB scaling across data centers · Experience in managing MS SQL Server databases. · Perform vulnerability and patch upgrades · Configure, implement and maintain multiple MS SQL Server Databases. · Research and resolve software and database problems · Establish and maintain backup and recovery processes · Establish database security procedures. · Monitor and tune performance of MongoDB Databases.
