*Position : Linux System Engineer with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Location : Melville, NY || Golden Valley, MN * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone / Skype GC , USC Only* *Job Description* · This role provides end-to-end ownership of all PKI components for our IoT solutions. This includes cloud, on-prem and hybrid IoT Honeywell solutions. A high level of technical ability as well as security awareness is required for this position. *Job Responsibilities* · End-2-end ownership of PKI infrastructure and API · Ownership of scalability, capacity, redundancy, and resiliency, maintenance and decommissioning planning for our PKI solution. · Secure, maintain, and monitor the entire PKI solution end-2-end for our IoT ecosystem · Maintain Technical documentation · Estimate creation · Provide hardware and software support/troubleshooting · Define and integrate predictive data driven tools · Provision , configure & Support both Prem & Azure IAAS Linux Servers , maintain availability and performance SLAs of the CT Linux Infrastructure · Proactive Monitor of infrastructure capacity · Trouble-shooting and resolution of faults · Root Cause Analysis of infrastructure related issues · Troubleshooting OS and application integration. · Software provisioning & maintain up to date patch management · Create and maintain procedural documents (SOP's). · Build Tools for Day to Day operations as well as identify processes where automation is needed (Shell/Python). Improve ability to rapidly deploy using provisioning tools and effectively manage custom applications · Production Handovers & Procedural checks · DR testing and documentation · Produce status reports and MIS as required · Willingness to work on-call and respond to production failures on a 7x12 basis and beyond normal Working Hours. *Job Requirement* · Linux expert - 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in managing and supporting Linux server infrastructure in at least two of these OS types (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Suse). · Proficient in security & cyber security for IoT · Fluent in security & encryption terminology · Problem solving and troubleshooting of complex issues · Performance tuning for infrastructure and API · RHCE or equivalent preferred · knowledge of Kernel tuning and debugging · Experience in any of DevOps tool Chef, puppet, salt, Ansible · Knowledge of Apache HTTPD or other related web service · Familiarity with high-availability concepts and setups · ITIL certification preferred · Experience of customer support in a time-critical environment · Thorough understanding of the interactions between applications, operating systems, systems hardware, network services, and storage devices · Experience of working in a heavily controls-focused environment highly desirable · TCP/IP and networking experience · Perl and shell-scripting skills · Project and program management planning and organizational skills · Customer service orientation · Time management and prioritization · Supplier management and ability to work with a global team · Able to work independently under minimal supervision *Regards , * *Kailash Negi* *VSG Business Solutions* *221 Cornwell Dr Bear, DE 19701* *Email ID : [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: 302-261-3207 x 102* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
