Description: Guidewire Business Analyst Location: Hartford, CT Length: 6+ months Start: ASAP Interview: phone Overview: A member of a project team, a Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with business customers on the analysis of business needs to deliver functional requirements and other project artifacts to the project team. The BSA will play a role in defining system functionality and leveraging technology to address business strategies and resolve operational needs. Roles & Responsibilities: · Assist onsite configuration team in estimations, Proof of concepts, definition, designs of robust and efficient configuration solutions. · Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions,Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development. · Assist Onsite/Offshore teams – and in certain cases be responsible - in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof Of Concepts · Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration components to be used as is on multiple projects · Prepare Build and Implementation plans for configuration work stream and report Configuration work stream status · Lead, Manage teams of 5-10 developers and be responsible for team velocity in delivering configuration user strories on time · Work with external consultants & developers · Train and build a team of experienced professionals Required Skills · *Guidewire Certification MUST* · Must have experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter · Strong business analysis background in insurance industry · Data Mapping experience is a MUST · Worked on Agile projects in recent past · User story knowledge · Ability to operate in fast-paced environment and proven ability to deliver and execute on business requirements. · Team player, good communicator, strong analyst with a few years’ experience · Soft skills and technical skills are equally important in these roles.
