*Please send Resumes to **[email protected] <http://@webilent.com>* Title: *PowerBuilder Lead Developer* Location: Beverly Hills, CA Duration: 6 Months Description: *Job Description:* • Move from Unix to Linux • Upgrade Sybase ASE DB • Upgrade PowerBuilder from 12.5 to 12.6 • Make DB Unicode compliant *Looking for a Lead PowerBuilder Developer that has the following skills/experience:* • 9+ years of developing client/server applications experience • 9+ years of solid PowerBuilder experience • 3+ years of Sybase ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) experience • 3+ years of Sybase Open Client experience • 7+ years of SQL development experience • Experience in PowerBuilder 12.5, PowerBuilder 12.6 and deploying using 64bit is required • Experience in ASE 15.7 and 16 is required • Experience in Open Client 15.7 and 16 is required • Experience upgrading PowerBuilder is required, and is a plus if it is to v12.6 • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming is a must • Experience developing highly performing and scalable code • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex system processes • Ability to troubleshoot and debug database connectivity • Ability to develop highly performing SQL queries and Stored Procedures • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex Stored Procedures • Ability to simultaneously lead work efforts and be hands-on across all phases of the project • Should be able to assess current and proposed future state, recommend alternatives and best practices based on prior experiences • Knowledge of UNIX and Linux commands and scripting is a plus • Knowledge of Media Industry (Studios/TV Distribution) is a plus • Individual should be a fast starter, have strong communication skills, must be a team player, possess good documentation skills and should be detail-oriented Your early response is highly appreciated.
