Please share the appropriate profile. *Role: Sr. Build & Release Engineer/ Devops Engineer* *Location: Mclean, VA* *Duration: 12+ Months * Required: Technical/Functional Skills -MUST HAVE SKILLS • Experience in Maven, sonarQube/JUnit integration with Jenkins, Weblogic configuration • Experience with. Java web environments (IIS, Sharepoint, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.) • Build and Continuous Integration: Maven, Hudson, Jenkins • Experience in Configuration management: • Familiarity with Docker container management. • Possesses experience utilizing Git or similar version control version control software. • Strong grasp of automation/scripting languages required. (Ruby or similar) • Familiar with Unix/Linux systems. • Experience using a variety of software development platforms such as the Eclipse IDE, IBM Rational Application Developer or other IDE's. • Support and improve our tools for continuous integration, automated testing and release management • Manage release branches • Build and sanity test release binaries • Push new releases to production • Maintain the build process to support ongoing development • Design, document and code an automated integration/build/test and release process • Own the dev, QA and staging environments and help automate the deployment process of binaries to these environments Secondary Skills: • Must lead a team of 2/3 configuration analysts • Works closely with project teams to prepare configuration plans. • Good communication and ability to convey technology solutions to business. • Quick learner of new technologies and tools. • Knowledge of Freddie Mac systems. • Familiarity with Mortgage Industry. • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred. Responsibilities: • Perform release packaging following established process. • Provide tool support to project teams. • Weblogic configurations • Automating server deployments. • Plan and execute software deployments to various environments as requested. Conduct troubleshooting for errors or issues identified during software deployments. • Manage source code tagging, branching, and merging.
