Excellent in Java + Either 1 of 4 ( Restful webservices/BigData/NoSql/Distributed Indexing), if candidate knows all 4 then it’s Awesome. Java should have carrier started with Java and his current working language. Through out Java background. Lead exp. is good to have. Candidate will be working 90% of the time on Service/DataStore/Data Layer. Client will send the Question and we need to ask same question to the candidates and note down the answer. If candidate looks satisfactory then we will do google hangout and Aditya or any Xavient team can join as passive listener in client interviews to understand the perspective.
