Our client located in Portland OR is need of a Java Developer for a 1 year
contract with strong potential for extension. The Developer will work with
the client on QA work; understanding functionality, testing needs etc.
Hence, must possess excellent communication skills and must be a quick
learner with organized problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
· 2-5+ years Java/J2EE development experience and ability to
quickly adapt to fast paced Agile development project.
· Experience with Windows based development environments -
specifically Linux, Oracle Virtual Box VM running CentOS b.)
· Experience with Java IDEs specifically Eclipse or Jetbrains
IntelliJ IDEA c.) Extensive experience with GIT and GIT based tools -
specifically Atlassian Stash, GIT command line
· Deep expertise with building REST services with Jersey framework
and Dropwizard
· Experience/ understanding of writing test cases using automation
testing tools like Selenium WebDriver (WebDriver JS, and Protractor). Good
understanding of JavaScript, CSS selectors, HTML5.
· Experience/ understanding of manual test execution.
· Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL
· Good understanding of code analyzers for Test driven development
· Experience with working in short sprints in an aggressive fast
paced Agile SCRUM team
· Ability to work in co-development client teams with fast paced/
time-to-market deadlines
· Good understanding of Continuous delivery and continuous
integration (CI/ CD) - tools and services - specifically Jenkins, Docker,
Amazon Elastic Beanstalk
