*Job Description:* Duties & Responsibilities
Training:
• Completes Tecsys Jasper (forms), Bartender (labels) and Cognos (reports)
technical training.
Design:
• Coordinates with Elite (vendor) data architects, systems administrators,
and others to understand and document technical output (forms, labels and
reports) requirements, capabilities, and limitations.
• Collaborates with project team members and SME’s to design appropriate
output artifacts (forms, labels and reports) based on business and
technical requirements. .
• Responsible for gathering reporting needs for the organization to
determine what vendor produced reports can be used or modified or new
reports created.
• Responsible for creating specifications as needed for reports.
Build:
• Develops technical output artifacts (forms, labels and reports) and
reviews with project team members and SME’s.
Testing:
• Creates and executes test plans (scripts, scenarios, spreadsheets) from
design documentation for the project, including all phases of testing
identified in test strategy and plan (unit, application, integration,
interface, etc.)
• Clearly document results of testing and document defects/issues in target
test tracking application (ALM)
Implementation:
• Develops and maintains supporting documentation (design documents, report
inventory, promotion requests, etc.).
• Leads interactions with customers to communicate status, resolve issues,
and obtain signoffs (design complete, testing complete/ready for
promotion).
Miscellaneous:
• Performs efficient, complete hand-offs to other developers when required.
• Reports project status and issues to the reporting team supervisor in a
timely manner.
• Reports time weekly using standard time tracking and status reporting
tool (Project Server)
• Responsible for performing to schedule and completing all tasks in the
agreed upon timelines.
• Works independently on assigned tasks with minimal assistance
