*Position : Cognos TM1 Consultant * *Location : Chicago, IL Duration : 7+ Months* *Interview : Phone / Skype (Face to Face if locals) * *GC / USC* Requires solid experience and exposure to large implementations. (8-10 years of total IT Experience) · Must have 3 years of continuous uninterrupted experience exclusively with TM1 · Ideally looking for a candidate that has been part of IBM or an IBM Partner. · Work schedule will be 100% on site but if the candidate is a rockstar, the manager is willing to entertain some flexibility. Job Requirement · Deep understanding and experience with Data Warehousing design and OLAP data models · Extensive experience with IBM Cognos TM1 and BI toolsets including hands on work expertise with 10.2 - 10.2.2 versions · Experience building budgeting, planning and reporting applications with TM1 Web and TM1 Applications web · Experience with building complex Websheets and understanding/applying TM1 Web best practices, optimization for performance and end user experience · Experience and proven ability to rapid prototype TM1 solution based on business requirements · Working knowledge and good understanding of accounting and financial analysis · Expertise with building complex rules & feeders and TI processes · Understanding of data warehousing, data structures, MDX and SQL Job Responsibilities · Working on TM1 Design and Development at the functional and technical levels · Solution Prototyping and application design · Developing complete solutions based on existing prototypes and Business requirements · Unit testing of all deliverables · Data validation and analysis · Defect management and Issue troubleshooting · Developing solution documentation: Technical Design, Test Plan, End-User documentation, TM1 Admin run-book, etc. EXPERIENCE: · Candidate will be required to show at least 6 Years of software development for the office of finance experience, of which at least 3 years of continuous uninterrupted experience exclusively with TM1.
