Applications Design & Development Develops technical specifications for
application programs from the high level design documents for moderate to
complex application programs Breaks down program specification into its
simplest elements and translates this logic into a programming language.
Writes application programs of moderate complexity employing higher level
languages and enterprise class application development tools (examples: ETL
Tools, Oracle PL/SQL, Shell Script, Windows) in order to meet user needs.
Conducts code reviews of application components developed by themselves or
other staff for standards adherence, efficiency and use of best practices.
Develops data access and data load processes for storing and retrieving
data from relational databases and other file systems; Develops data
conversion and transformation processes and utilities Tests and debugs
computer programs in order to ensure application operates correctly and
meets user requirements. Studies and evaluates user problems and operations
in order to produce feasibility or scope and objectives reports, functional
requirements, and design specifications. Writes/Updates final system and
program documentation in order to facilitate system use and future
modifications. Participates in the full systems development life cycle and
is capable of designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and
supporting applications software Minimum Requirements BS/MS degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Experience:
5+ years of programming/systems analysis experience. Ability to work
effectively as a member of an application development team Ability to
communicate effectively orally and in writing, to design, develop, test,
debug, and maintain application programs. Specific or technical job skills:
Must have DataStage 8.x ETL, and Oracle programming experience

Scripting, Co-sort. • Oracle 9i/10g/11g, SQL Server 2008, SPDS. • Data
Stage 8.5 PX, Data Stage 8.7 PX , Data Stage 11.5 PX • Data Stage 8.1 PX,
DI-STUDIO 3.4, Process Manager (LSF), Co-sort 8, SMC (SAS Management
Console). • Previous experience with migrating code*
