*General Purpose of Job*
- Responsible for development and administration of Informatica ETL
mappings and job schedules
- Work with BI team in design and development of Data Warehouse
environment through integration of various data sources
- Develop and maintain ETL load schedules
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for existing ETL jobs
- Advise the BI team on the capabilities of Informatica to fulfill
specific data needs
*Function Breakdown*
· 50% Develop and Maintain ETL jobs and job schedules for EDW
environment
· 20% Identify improvements for ETL jobs performance and data
quality
· 20% Provide operational support and troubleshooting for
existing ETL jobs and job schedules
· 10% Design, assess, and develop table structures, data
relationships and integration mappings for EDW environment
*Specific Skills and Knowledge*
· *Must have proficiency with SAP connectors*
· Must have strong proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft
programs
· Must have strong proficiency with Informatica Powercenter
Advanced Edition version 9
· Must have strong proficiency with Informatica Powercenter Data
Quality version 9
· Must have strong proficiency in third party job scheduling tools
(e.g. UC4)
· Must have a level of proficiency with Data warehousing techniques
including : Inmon Corporate Information Factory and Kimble Star Schema
· Must have a level of familiarity with Informatica Velocity
methodology
· Must have a level of proficiency with Oracle RDBMS version 10 and
11
· Must have a level of proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL
