Local candidates preferred but can submit candidates out of state if they
have experience with *Kendo UI* and *Freemarker*.
. The Architect is responsible for the overall design and solution
architecture of new web application, and provides documentation for the
solution architecture including:
• Participates in client workshops with a technical
mindset.
• Provides technical guidance and incorporates
effective practices into the project.
• Performs estimation of level of effort for
implementation planning.
• Acts as onsite technical design and delivery lead.
• Responsible for framework implementation and
development readiness.
• Coordinates with off-shore resources.
• Works closely with the UX Architect.
• Responsible for environment preparation.
• Communicates needs and status back to the project
manager.
• Leads onsite Product Demos & feedback.
*Application Development artifacts:*
The current functionality available in the current web application,
migrated to the new architecture and incorporating the new look & feel.
Artifacts will include source code, configuration files, test cases,
database scripts, deployment procedures, application setup procedures.
*Project Documentation*
Technical design and architecture implementation documentation to support
the development activities as well as the documentation required for
operational support.
*Required skills:*
· 8-10+ years’ experience implementing a new J2EE architecture via
use of frameworks, design patterns and best practices
· Experience designing and developing front end solutions using
JavaScript and HTML frameworks
· Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring to a
development team of up to 8 resources
· Experience developing HTML5 front end solutions
· Experience developing J2EE applications using Jetty as the app
server
· Experience architecting, designing and developing J2EE
applications
· Experience developing HTML5 front end solutions
· Experiencing leading a dev team using Agile SDLC methodology
· Experience leading offshore development teams
