Job Title : .Net Developer (applications migration) Location : Mountain View - California, USA Duration :6-12 months Must have a GC or USC consultants only we are looking Job Description :- JD/Skill set: · Highly motivated and results-oriented professional with strong communication, problem-solving, analytical skills and, and ability to learn quickly. · Abilities to work well in a team environment and large-scale projects. · Programming Languages and Tools: C#, VB.NET, C/C++, Visual, Microsoft Visual Studio.NET (2015, 2008, 2010), DCOM/COM+, MTS, ATL and MFC library, DLLs · Database: data modeling, design and programming using Oracle (8i – 11g) and SQL Server (2000-2008), ADO/ADO.NET, ODBC, Microsoft AccessObject-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming (OODP) · Web Development: ASP, ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC, Web Services (SOAP), ADO.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, VBScript, HTML, XML, XSLT, Xpath, and IIS. · Software Version Control: prefer Perforce (p4), and others · Third party components; · Solid experience in software design and development in n-tier architecture environments. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supporting applications migration to new servers (upgrade hardware). This project includes but not limited to migrate current .NET applications to the new servers. Re-compile the applications, update old code (in-compatibility with the new environments) to current. Be able to resolve any issues with Oracle and SQL server database connections, data retrievals. Be able to refresh VBA enabled Excel reports. This position will work with other team members to ensure feasibility of solutions, and help out with design and code reviews. Must be able to demonstrate technical enthusiasm, follow relevant technology trends, and address technical challenges which may arise during projects.
