I need a data analyst with experience working on CRM, or Marketing Database
applications.



The will need to local to the NYC area since they will need to come in for
an in person interview.





·        Under managerial direction, the Marketing Database Analyst will
work on the Customer Intelligence team.

·        This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for
requirements-gathering, documentation, and support of the marketing
database environment within the Customer Intelligence Platform.

·        Candidate will manage multiple tasks and development efforts
simultaneously, be a self-starter, and take ideas through to implementation.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

·        Provide Support for Enhancements to Database Environment

o   Work on behalf of CRM team to provide IT with business requirements,
consolidating feedback and getting sign off when required

o   Lead business-driven requirements gathering and work with IT teams to
develop solutions

o   Outline risks and project dependencies where applicable

o   Communicate development objectives, requirements, impacts of design
decisions, and status of projects to business teams

o   Prioritize uses cases according to organizational goals

o   Coordinate and participate in QA when required

o   Drive requirements-gathering meetings with CRM when required, and
document data definitions to IT team

·        Support Day-to-Day Database Functions

o   Oversee QA needed for customer database activities

o   Work with IT partners to resolve data quality issues

o   Data mine multiple databases for the purposes of gathering insights and
defining customer attributes and metrics

o   Recognize business risks and escalate diplomatically when required

*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES NOT COVERED IN FOCUS AREAS:*

·        Partner with the Customer Intelligence team to align on CRM best
practices

·        Collaborate with the Customer Intelligence team to execute on the
Customer Intelligence Platform roadmap

·        Excellent analytical, solution engineering, and communication
skills

*EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED:*

·        Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business Administration, Computer
Science, or related field

·        3-5+ years' experience in SQL Server or other RDBMS

·        3-5+ years' experience as a business analyst

·        3-5+ years' experience in data analysis and validation

·        Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation of both
functional and technical aspects

·        Proficiency in SQL

·        Experience with enterprise reporting tools (e.g. MicroStrategy,
Tableau) a plus

·        Experience with Retail and Ecommerce a plus

·        Experience in master data management(MDM) concepts preferred

·        Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of
the team
