The current applications are built using Microsoft Access and will be
migrating to an Oracle database using a new created Java front end.
This candidate will be responsible for the design, development and unit
testing of business logic and user interfaces for applications. They will
be working in a Scrum framework.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development and unit testing of business
logic and user interfaces for applications;
- Mentor more junior development team members;
- Debug new and existing software systems and/or applications;
- Serve as a technical expert on development projects;
- Participate in full development life cycle including requirement
analysis and design;
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated
business requirements;
- Support, maintain and document software functionality;
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Must have Qualifications:
- Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Java Developer;
- Java, J2EE, Java Server Faces, Enterprise Java Beans 3.0, JAX-WS;
- Oracle Database 12c, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle WebLogic 12c;
- Microsoft Access, Netbeans IDE, CA Autosys;
- Experience working with SCRUM framework;
- Working with financial applications preferred.
