Position - Java Developer/Scala developer Location - New York City, NY Interview - Phone + In-person Job Type - Contract Job Description: Our Client is looking for a senior java Developer /scala developer, who can be part of a dynamic front office team which supports the ABS & CLO trading desks. As part of the role candidate would be responsible for helping develop, debug and maintain new and existing applications primarily written in perl and java. The position requires good knowledge of Fixed Income bonds and the underlying analytics for pricing the bond. A thorough understanding in databases and in writing efficient and performant queries is required. Candidate should have a very good understanding of design and system architecture and the ability to work on all aspects of software development from requirement collection to analysis, design, development and testing. This is a front office role with Business faceoff.
