Linux is a plus, as the client app run on Windows and the QA testing is primarily on the client · Write, maintain and execute test cases, Design, implement, execute and troubleshoot automated tests for functional and performance quality, and report on results. · Process defects accurately and in a timely fashion utilizing our standard defect tool. · Provide clear and consistent communication with the team on status, risks and quality and document, train and transition work to designated resource upon completion of project. *Required : * .NET, DB QA consultant: Responsible for functional QA testing of a customer-specific .NET based project including smoke, regression and performance testing. · 3-5 years of QA experience in web technologies, *web testing and Database Testing, SQL is key!* * *Database testing** is* far more important. (e.g. being able to insert records into a DB to test different scenarios) The database is *Oracle 10g*. So experiencing *testing a DB backend* and having *good SQL* skills are critical. · Experience with *manual testing* (position includes manual testing). API-level testing a plus. UI testing techniques good · Experience with .*NET* operating system *required*.
