Thanks in advance. *Title:* QA Engineer *Location:* San Jose, CA. *Duration:* 6 + Months. *Interview:* Telephonic + FTF Interview. *LOCAL WILL BE HIGHLY PREFERRED. * *Basic Purpose*** - The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with a growing QA team to deliver manual test solution for web-based applications. - Duties will include design, document, develop and execute test cases. - The candidate will also be responsible to troubleshoot problem areas. - SQL knowledge is required. - Automation testing is a plus. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities * - Works as software quality assurance engineer performing the following tasks and duties: - Create and execute test plans as well as thorough manual test testing cases by understanding web application requirements. - Demonstrate excellent creativity and problem-solving skills during test execution. This requires looking at the log files, debugging and recreating the issue, and understanding the problems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Understand software QA processes and recommend changes and enhancement in the existing process. - Create bug defects in bug tracking tool with complete information on the steps as well as log files.
