Position Description:
Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years related experience including familiarity
with testing automation tools.
This Data Analyst position reports to the CCT QA Manager and is accountable
for providing quality control assessments on data which resides within a
data warehouse. The Analyst collects, reviews and inputs test data into a
computer processing system, identifies and resolves data related errors,
maintains and revises procedural lists, control records and coding schemes
to process source data. - The Analyst monitors processing activities of the
data warehouse and responds to problems that may occur to ensure accurate
and timely delivery of data to internal and external databases. - The
Analyst will also write and monitor test scripts, queries, or programs which
perform quality control assessments on the data. - The Analyst provides
customer support by interfacing with customers to resolve problems
concerning data issues. - The Analyst must have experience re!
viewing and understanding requirement documents, design and specifications
documents (conceptual data models, logical and physical data models and data
dictionaries. - The Analyst is required to evaluate all documentation,
identify gaps and develop test plans, test scripts and test mitigation
strategies. - The Analyst must work effectively with Project Managers,
Business Analysts, technical team resources and business partners to ensure
clarity of requirements, test plans and test results. - The KPIs for this
position is to deliver all assigned work on time, on budget with zero
defects. To the extent that defects are unavoidable, the Analyst must
develop a mitigation strategy that is approved by the QA Manager, MIS
Manager and business stake-holders. - The ideal candidate is a college
graduate in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science with
interest and studies in economics and finance. - A bachelors degree is
