REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND

.         Minimum of 3 years IT experience

.         Experience working in a support environment

 

Required Skills:

 

.         Previous support experience

.         SQL and database knowledge 

.         Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to communicate with technical and non-technical parties, and provide
the business and management with concise updates regarding issues 

.         Ability to work in high-pressure situations and flexibility 

.         Ability to work independently and in a team

.         Organized and good time management 

.         Analytical and systematic problem solving skills

.         Visual Basic 

.         Ability to prioritize efficiently 

.         Good time management skill

.         Ability to multi-task

 

Desired Skills:

 

.         ITIL knowledge

.         Demonstrate ability to document and deliver on project related
work 

.         UNIX

.         XML

.         Understanding of batch schedulers (e.g. Control M)

.         Understanding of excel pivot tables and excel report building

 

Overall Responsibilities:

Perform Business Application Support analyst duties for CTS suite of
applications.  Overall responsibilities include:    

   

.         Serve as initial point of contact for questions and problems on
CTS applications

.         Log all incidents received via phone and emails in Remedy/ITSM

.         Accurately categorize and prioritize issues

.         Ensure service levels for issue escalation and resolution are met

 

Functional Responsibilities:

.         Log all work performed and resolution details in Remedy/ITSM

.         Provide timely updates on the status of non-closed issues to the
affected parties.

.         Communicate issue resolution details and root cause information to
affected parties upon closure of issue making sure to use verbiage
appropriate for the intended audience.

.         Add issue detail and resolution info to the CTS knowledge base
