Sybase IQ DBA
Location: Warren, NJ
Start date: 11/15/09
End Date: 6 Months
Pay Rate is $45 per hour.
Role: Sybase IQ DBA with experience in setting up, loading and maintaining a
Sybase IQ 12.7 database. Must know monitoring and troubleshooting methods,
as well as experience with performance and tuning of Sybase IQ
implementation.
Must be familiar with:
Sybase IQ Product Overview and Environment
Sybase IQ Architecture and Terminology
Installing and Configuring Sybase IQ
Sybase IQ Index Types
Creating Databases, Tables, and Indexes
Sybase IQ Memory Configuration
Loading Data into Sybase IQ
Sybase IQ Operational Data Administration
Join Indexes
Backup and Recovery
Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Performance and Tuning
Creating a Multiplex Database
Multiplex Architecture
Multiplex Loading
Must have skills: Sybase IQ 12.x
Added Value skills: Sybase IQ 15.x
