* * *Title:* Senior VB6 Developer *Rate: $45/hr* *Location:* Boulder, CO-All work must be done on-site *Duration:* Likely to be 12 months+ (they will renew in 3 month intervals) The immediate project is for a VB6 Rockstar that can come in, do quick fix changes and bug fixes to their existing applications. There will be minor functionality enhancements with the potential for some new functionality development. The environment is fast paced with daily release cycles (sometimes hourly). There will be constant interaction with the end users to figure out the problems as well as interaction with the internal team to go about fixing the problems. The goal is not to change the existing architecture of the application, but to keep it functioning while they look at re-architecting to a .Net environment. Their current architecture is OCX based.
