*GENERAL SUMMARY:*
The primary responsibilities of this position are application, development,
maintenance and support. With general supervision, provides support to
existing production applications; and, performs technical analysis, design,
development and implementation of new applications using existing and
emerging platforms.

*Minimum work experience in the following area 3 - 5 years:*
Distributed, multi-platform architecture development on high-volume
production systems
Relational databases including SQL and stored procedures
Event-driven processing
Testing and quality assurance techniques
Object-oriented design and development
Experience in all phases of the SDLC, Production Support
Experience with Provider or Payer Health care systems
· *Required Skills: 3- 5 years of experience *
Sybase, *JAVA* Development, *SQL Stored Procedures*
SDLC methodology
Developing and executing test plans
Code version control
Written and verbal communication
Ability to conform with established coding standards
· *Required Tools: 3- 5 years of experience*
Sybase, Java, SQL, Vitria, UNIX, XML, PVCS
