background.  Client is deciding between both products.



Title: Procurement Business Systems Analyst

Contract Duration: 3+ months

Location: Boston, Massachusetts



Minimum Requirements:

Senior Business Systems Analyst with in-depth understanding of the
Procurement processes  and who has successfully planned and deployed a full
tools suite installation with a customer for either the Oracle or Ariba
Procurement tools (on-demand, SaaS) for the following functions:

1.                Requisition to pay,

*                Approval process (work flow),

*              Issue of vendor PO’s,

*                Electronic acknowledgement for receipt of goods,

2.                Electronic receipt of vendor billing(s), electronic match
of such billings to original PO / receipt process, and electronic match
notification to AP system(s), Capture of global Supplier Spend,
Classification and Normalization of that spend,  and enablement for global
Spend Analytics,

3.            Global Contract Management,

4.            Global Events Management (RFx’s, and auctions) and

5.            Vendor / Supplier Master File, electronically interfacing with
all related internal Systems.

Expected that the individual will already have in-depth knowledge of global
Procurement processes and skills for documenting requirements and aligning
these requirements with either of the above noted vendors’ solutions.



Description:

1.            Help define / document Global Procurement Groups
Business/System requirements for e-Commerce applications by facilitating
user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases / workflow(s),
and researching and resolving issues.

2.                Participate in Business Analysis project planning and
management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and
preparing project documentation.

3.                Analyze current processes and recommend industry best
practice solutions and improved processes.

4.                Oversee the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of
subject matter knowledge.

5.            Provide technical and business knowledge to Procurement
internal clients and Suppliers. Keeps abreast of technological and
competitive developments.

6.                Conduct research on industry practices and standards and
other benchmarking data.

7.                Experience in planning the analysis and testing phases in
the development cycle and ensuring business needs have been achieved.

8.            Having experience of 6+ years of recent relevant experience.

By capturing and documenting GPS requirements, -  our IT support group will
be able to successfully document, scope and price our business case. After
the completion of the business case, the candidate will then proceed with
Procurement / AP for a clean and rapid implementation globally.

The initial scoping and vendor reviews has begin internally for this
project, including documenting fields for monthly capture from global AP
locations to a central repository, for being one of the inputs to the Spend
Analytics. Work needs to begin immediately for a more detailed
requirements*** Max Length Reached ****** Max Length Reached ***nts /
scoping exercise in support of the business case for the full Procurement
functions (e-Commerce suite of applications) / tools globally, and updating
the business case with costs and expected timelines to accomplish a global
rollout.

Both potential solutions will be a vendor-hosted solution, and interfaces
will need to be defined to  existing corporate systems (within corporate
firewalls) connection via internet to internal Customers and our global
Suppliers utilizing the selected tool Suppliers’ latest release levels of
their Tools.

The selected individual will possess excellent communications skills as well
as solid project management skills.
