Role: APPLICATION DEVELOPER Duration: 6 months
Rate: $30.00 Location: FL in Jacksonville. APPLICATION DEVELOPERS ONLY Candidates must be application developers, not DBA's, or ETL experts Job Duties include but are not limited to: *Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products *Write code for system designs that span platforms *Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) *Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs *Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points *Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications *Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle *Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach Job Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in related business area or equivalent work experience *Advanced experience programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 10G *Working knowledge of ClearCase *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems *Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) *Demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query language *Demonstrated experience using debugging tools *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (i.e., Clearcase) *Experience with RUP methodology and Rational tools *Experience using Powerbuilder, TOAD, SQL Navigator Highly Preferred Experience/Knowledge: *Experience in Diamond core functionality preferred *Experience with Diamond third party tools preferred (i.e., ClaimCheck, Optimizer, DRG Grouper, APC Pricer) *Capitation system knowledge preferred *Healthcare industry knowledge preferred Thanks and Regards, Amrutha Aim Computer Consulting N.
