We had a conference call with this team on exactly what they are looking for - This individual MUST have good communication skills (Greencard or US Citizen) - This individual will be in a actual Technical Lead Role (70% Technical / 30% Functional). Just have leadership experience working in a Matrix environment. They will have a lot of communication with the 3rd Parties, Vendor Consultants and Client employees so communication skills are crucial. Must have experience with at least one Peoplesoft implementation, must be up to date on the Latest skills/Asset Managment within PeopleSoft. Will be working on a multiple of projects (some that are new and some that have already started). Needs to have the lastest Peoplesoft versions 9.x (9.1 would be great).
PeopleSoft Technical Expert Loc: San Antonio, Texas Duration: 1+ years Inclusive Rate: Open GENERIC JOB DESCRIPTION PeopleSoft Technical Expert Technical resources understand the technical intricacies of the PeopleSoft suite of tools and have the ability to use / manipulate same. These resources will create custom interfaces, standard and custom reports, and address database and system performance issues, setup hardware and software for the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, apply patches and fixes issued by Oracle, setup and monitor batch processing and create ad-hoc reports / query processing and provide technical upgrade services. Supplier technical resources will have expertise / experience in a majority of the following: PeopleTools Application Engine Unix Jobscripts PeopleCode Workflow Component Interface ETL SQR EPM Technical Expert PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Must have education, professional training/certification, and education in areas relevant to the PeopleSoft module(s). (2-5+ Years). Experience using high-level programming languages such as COBOL. Experience using object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Java. Experience working under supervision in the design, development and implementation of computer software. Experience in the preparation of documentation, conducting program tests, and correcting program errors. Knowledge of sound computer programming standards, conventions and techniques. Expertise with one or more of the PeopleSoft modules. Specific expertise dependent on the needs outlined in the contract request PeopleSoft Functional Expert These resources have the ability and experience to understand the business process and business flows to configure / tailor the software to execute the business process. Functional resources may have a CPA, MBA, Human Resources designation(s), and / or other Professional Certifications. These resources will work with the business subject matter experts and the technical experts to automate business processes / flows. The Functional Experts, should have: Education/Experience with the recent software versions of the PeopleSoft applications. Experience with business related configuration and set-up relevant to the PeopleSoft module(s)/processes. Experience in the preparation of testing, training, and procedures/process documentation. Experience in conducting unit, systems and performance tests, and troubleshooting/resolving errors. Working knowledge of metadata/data tables relevant to the PeopleSoft module(s)/processes. Experience using PeopleSoft Query/nVision Reporting Tools.
