We have a 6 month contract for a Lead Java/Hadoop developer in Newark, NJ. THE MUST HAVE LEAD EXPERIENCE, this is not a Sr. Consultant that has had numerous consulting assignments. They need to mentor and train Jr. level Java folks. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Lead Java Developer, with extensive Java experience and solid experience with Hadoop and/or MongoDB, to join the professional team supporting the fixed income business of our client, a large global fixed income asset management firm. You will have the opportunity to bring your technical prowess and learn the business in-depth, as well as learn new technologies. *Overview:* Your primary responsibility will be enhancing and supporting internally developed custom applications. You will be relied upon for your Java, Hadoop and MongoDB experience and your ability to execute/deliver and mentor others.
