*12+ Months contract* *Job description:* The Application User Interface Designer responsibilities include the design, development and maintenance of front-end web applications. The incumbent will work closely with the user interface design and web development teams. Particular focus will be placed on user experience and search engine optimization to support the Company’s strategic goals. *Required qualifications:* Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or similar field of study is required. Minimum of three years’ experience with design and development of user interfaces and/or websites. Strong working knowledge of the following software platforms on both MacIntosh and PC: Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly applications. Ability to develop front-end applications using HTML, CSS and other web related technology. Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus. Brainstorm, research, wireframe design and refine user experiences- all within specific product requirements and deadlines. Must possess excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
