*SQL Database Administration Skills:*

   - Experience in handling SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server
   2008, SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012 instances.
   - Basic Experience in handling Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008
   and Windows Server 2012.
   - Should have very good experience in SQL Server Installation and
   Configuration.
   - Experience in handling Up gradation and Migration of SQL server
   instances.
   - Experience in Incident Management. Able to handle Incident and Service
   requests.
   - Very good Expertise in handling Access related requests and handling
   Logins and Users profiles.
   - Experience in implementing different types of Replication Models like
   Snapshot and Transactional Replication
   - Hands on experience in maintaining Clustering, Snapshot Replication,
   Log Shipping and Database Mirroring
   - Experience in Implementation and maintenance of Failover clustering
   (Active-Active and Active-Passive )
   - Experience in SQL Server Performance Tuning, client/server
   connectivity, Query optimization
   - Experience in administrative tasks scheduling Backup and Recovery
   Strategies and Disaster Recovery Procedures
   - Worked on administration tasks such as Data loading, batch jobs, Data
   unloading, backup and recovery, user and application table management,
   upgrades, creating Databases, file groups, files, transaction logs.
   - Expertise in creating, implementing and monitoring Maintenance
   Plans/SQL Jobs, job scheduling.
   - Solid experience in Eliminating Blocking issues, performance
   monitoring with Activity monitor, SQL Profiler, Performance monitor,
   Database Tuning Advisor, DMVs and DMFs, SQL Diagnostic Manager.
   - Experience in working and analyzing SSIS Packages to manage ETL
   environment.
   - Should be willing to provide 24x7 Production Support.
   - Should have good communication Skills.
   - Should be willing to own issues and should display accountability.

*Desired Skills /Certifications:*

   1. SQL Server 2008 Administration Certification.
   2. SQL Server 2012 Administration Certification.
   3. ITIL V3 Foundation Certification.
