*Position -- QA Automation Engineer (SDET)* *Location -- Eden Prairie, MN.* *Need Local Only* *Contract to Hire position,(6 -12 Months)* *Only USC / GC / GC EAD* *Mode of Interview: Phone/Onsite* *Description*: We are seeking talented thinkers and SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) who can unlock next generation software innovations that will deliver a rich, engaging and unmatched customer experience. In this role, you will ensure flawless cutting-edge experiences using existing and emerging automation frameworks. As an Automation Engineer/SDET, you would work with Software engineers as well as other test automation engineers to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for effective and efficient test execution. Using Agile methodologies for various types application mixes including Web, Service Oriented, Mobile, Java, Json & Open Source, etc. You will be responsible to develop new automation scripts and modifying existing automation scripts written in Java or possibly .Net/C#, and other in-house automation frameworks. You will also look to incorporate your automation into code delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and engineer-reporting tools that help your team stay on top of code quality. You will also work with clients, analysts, programmers and team members to solve complex investment business problems. *Overall Responsibilities* • Design, development and implement automated tests • Write and execute ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development), Selenium, and Java/Cucumber or .net /Specflow • Be able to manage test data and utilize test data management tech • Deliver solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guardrails • Mentor and direct other testers in automation principles • Debug software and perform reviews of automation and application code • Engineer solutions that collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools • Develop in-depth system and product knowledge • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components and object repository methods, etc.) • Partner with product owners and developers to identify areas for improved efficiencies • Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience • Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate • Research and implement tools that support delivery Qualifications *Basic Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • 4 + years of experience developing test automation or combination of development and test experience using Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, TestNG or similar tools • At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes • Experience with Acceptance Test Driven development • Working experience with technologies such as Java/Cucumber and with applications developed in various client side scripting technologies such as Angular, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery etc. • Proficient with developer tools, such as Eclipse and git/github for developing on the Java stack • Experience automating build processes, application deployments and continuous integration system like Jenkins *Preferred Qualifications: * • Strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills • Exposure to C#/Specflow a definite plus *Anchit Bajpai* *Technical Recruiter* 1 Point System LLC Unit 103, 206 N College St, Pineville, North Carolina, 28134 *P*: *803-792-4353* *E* : *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Yahoo:* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Hangout: **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *W:* www.1pointsys.com For Job Updates please add: *1 Point System-Jobs/Hotlist* *An E-Verified company | An Equal Opportunity Employer* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
