'12+ years experience designing / implementing solutions in the operator core network a/o OSS/BSS space. NFV/SDN architeccture. 2. Own conversations and relationships with senior architects and technical decision makers at operators considering NFV, SDN and network virtualization. Convince them of the value of VMware’s solutions and move them systematically through the stages of technology adoption (Education, PoC, Trial, Production). 3. Design Telecommunications solutions that support the delivery of Telco NFV and SDN based services. Identify product and platform enhancements that need to be made to support these services. Work with product management to drive development of these requirements. 4. Be a senior contributor in a team of global architects and field systems engineers responsible for overseeing the execution of technical proofs of concept with NEPs, Telco ISVs and operators to illustrate the value of integrating with or running on VMware products. 5. Work with NEPs and operators to integrate their products into the cloud through adoption of VMware’s cloud infrastructure and cloud management products. 6. Experience participating in all aspects of large-scale Distributed Systems Architecture projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Recognition and technical credibility in the telecommunications community. SME in cloud computing, Telco application development, and architecture. Experience in partner relationship management, technical evangelism or technical alliance management. Be a technical thought leader in the area of NFV, SDN and network virtualization using VMware products Strong Networking skills, experience on network tools, In depth data networking knowledge –i.e. IPv4 / IPv6, TCP, UDP, Ethernet, MPLS • Network workload simulation tools • ESX, NSX, vCenter, vCloud Director.
