Mandatory Technical Skills
Data Warehouse lifecycle development experience including designing and
building ETL processes; writing ETL specifications; data modeling;
designing and building data marts for business intelligence, marketing, and
operational reporting; performance tuning; and resolving production issues
with the ability to troubleshoot data quality issues
Advanced technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem solving skills.
Solves system-level and architecture problems
Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or
assignments simultaneously
In-depth knowledge of computer coding/programming languages and software
development concepts in a large IT environment
Works with cross-functional teams to plan and estimate work
Responsible for platform performance and security
Knowledge of vendor software integration and interaction patterns
Create effective documentation
Experience Required:
Required
5+ years proficiency with SQL
3+ years Oracle database development experience using PL/SQL
Experience in the physical and logical design of database architecture
Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling
Programming experience with emphasis on designing complex T-SQL that scale
well and are optimized for use in high volume environments
3 years development in a UNIX environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational
and analytical skills required
Preferred:
Development using ETL tool such as Informatica or equivalent
Hadoop development using Cloudera
Worked with a Job Management/Scheduling tool such as Autosys
Data mart development for CRM Systems and Reporting
Application administration and support
Use of Dashboard Tools such as Qlikview or Tableau
Experience with Analytic Tools such as SAS, R or equivalent
Experience in System Automation
