*Job Title : Security Firewall Specialist* *Location : Reston, VA* *Duration : 06+ Months* *Description:* The insistence is more on the security & design aspects of the firewall implementation rather than just configuring the firewall. We are fine with strong network engineer (IP) who has experience on the security implementation aspects. *Minimum 9+ Years of experience* Candidate should be well versed in Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall, preferred candidates with certification on these firewall platforms. knowledge in SDN (Software defined networking)/NFV ( Network function virtualization) security area. Experience with Unix/Linux OS & knowledge on its security features/implantations Working knowledge of network security architecture and protocols, security threat vectors, networking, network security, and application security In-depth knowledge of common network protocols, packet formats, and security vulnerabilities is required Design/solution implementation experience of physical firewalls (any firewall) & strong networking knowledge around routing, security vulnerability, penetration testing, intrusion prevention & tools for monitoring, knowledge in SDN/NFV security area. General security concepts & experience with strong network engineer is also fine.
