SAP HR LSO Functional Consultant
Location : Richmond, VA
Total Experience: 3+ yrs
Duration - 3 - 6+ Months
Rate - Open
Start date: Immediate
SAP HR LSO Functional Consultant performs functional analysis, requirements,
definition and ERP module configuration and testing. Responsible for
conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping,
function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of
transaction/control tables. Has a thorough understanding of the business
processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the
development of solutions for the business functions. Responsible for the
identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved
in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design,
data migration and reconciliation. Competent to work at the highest
technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the
business implications of the application of technology to the current and
future business environment.
* Gathers, analyzes and documents business and functional requirements.
Translate needs of the business into applicable system design solutions via
prototyping, configuration, and development.
* Performs configuration, testing and implementation of application.
* Defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry
requirements. Assist in providing estimates of task effort and resource
skills needed.
* Works in a global environment with strong ability to interface with
colleagues and customers across different time zones and cultures.
* Collaborate with project team colleagues on blueprinting new developments
and entire lifecycle through post implementation support.
* Interface with SAP developers to create program documents and ensure
integrity of design and performance.
* 3+ years experience in HR SAP including ESS/MSS and LSO (SAP Learning
Solution) configuration
* Experience in LSO configuration, Authoring environment (including SCORM
and AICC standards), and Smartforms/HR form skills
* Knowledge of ASAP methodology. The ability to analyze, design implement,
and support applications
* Knowledge of SAP Best Practices
* Knowledge of global solutions and standards as they relate to our
local/regional solutions processes.
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to travel up to 100%
