Develop plans for innovative solutions to technical problems and follow through to implementation. • Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems. • Participate in capital projects. • Some after hour, on-call support may be needed. Projects involved with: • Software changes for process efficiency improvements and process controls changes Required Skills {These are skills that candidates MUST possess} • Technical background in an Engineering or Computer Science Discipline • Strong computer programming skills: VB, VB.Net, C • Ability/experience integrating computers into manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies and lower cost. • Ability/experience troubleshooting simple low voltage electrical circuitry Desired Skills MES, MS Windows, iFIX, Ethernet based or other distributed I/O, MS Word, Excel, Access, or equivalent. Electrical design, controls design, experience with motion systems (desired but not required) Soft Skills • Able to communicate equally well with engineers, production associates, and managers • Able to work in a team-oriented environment • Self motivated, Independent, High Initiative Education: B.S or M.S.
