Role: Mercury Portal Pre-Trade Analytics Senior JAVA Developer


Job Description
Pre-trade analytics content developer for MERCURY Portal and FICC trading
initiative – a content delivery platform for global institutional investors
and capital market clients. Collaborate with sales/trading desk associates
and research in the design and development of trade analysis tools, market
monitors and time-series visualization tools for FICC and Equity markets
related asset classes. Utilize development tools including JAVA/J2EE,
Python, JMSL-numerical libraries, Linux, Gigaspace (caching solution),
Nirvana/TIB (messaging) and ExtJS/Angular JavaScript UI libraries.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or related.

Experience:
• 7+ years of core Java/J2EE based design and development experience
preferably in front-office pricing/risk management platform.
• Possess strong Application and Design experience and expertise in
Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, Application
Frameworks (Spring, AJAX, JSON, ExtJS etc.), implementing solutions based
on Service-Oriented-Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
principles
• Any experience developing solutions related to pricing and risk across
asset classes such as bonds, foreign-exchange and credit market products
will be a plus.
• Any experience integrating with firm standards analytics libraries
equivalent is plus
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, analytical and
organizational skills
• Apply manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with a diverse
group of peer-groups
