*Title: Java Technical Lead Location: Madison, WI Duration: 2 Years* *Job Description:* *Requisition Comments*: We are seeking a strong technical lead with Java background to fill the role of Test Environment Management Analyst. This individual will partner with IT and all business lines to assess, research, and analyze business and technical test environment needs to ensure test environments allow for adequate testing of all application changes, resulting in successful implementation into production. Test Environment Management Analysts will report to their application teams and take direction and leadership from Test environment Management team. Please note this is leadership/coordinator role and will also require development. *Required Skills:* 1. Strong problem solving skills 2. Strong J2EE developer 3. Strong organizational skills 4. Strong experience in C# and VB.Net 5. Strong communication skills *Candidates will need to:* · Set up, maintain and verify environment configuration, end points, queues and integration points per environment and ensure this information is incorporated into overall release implementation plan. · Provide input on environment tracking list on current environment consumers & schedules for usage. · Determine the root cause of the issues and work with the appropriate areas to reduce the reoccurring outages (One of the inputs: Track integration deployments and determine where and when these deployments will occur) · Participate in continuous improvements plans to prevent outages in Pre-production environments for guidewire/non guidewire applications. · Coordinate the communication between teams for environment issues. · Work on tracking administrative tasks related to development · Tracking and checking on health of environments · Be the contact person for application specific environment refreshes *Required Technologies - candidates should have experience with:* 1. Soap based Web service experience - Both Creating and Consuming; 2. JSP, Tag Libraries 3. Database - Oracle, DB2 4. Struts 5. MDB/JMS/MQ 6. JDBC 7. XML 8. XSD 9. EJB 3 10. WSDL 11. Spring 12. Spring JDBC and/or Hibernate 13. .Net *Required general tools & skills:* 1. Experience working with collaborative/Agile development teams 2. Object Oriented Development 3. Application design 4. Application support 5. Team player - This is an Agile development team, so must be a strong team player 6. Excellent communication skills 7. Self-starter with good work ethic 8.
