Responsible for:

·        Work with and guide other Java developers and project team members
to implement new features



*Required Skillset:*

·        10+  years Java development experience

·        Java 6 and knowledge of Java 8

·        XML, JAXB, JDBC, etc.

·        EJB

·        JMS point-to-point and publish-subscribe

·        JAXB

·        Hibernate

·        Spring Framework

·        JAX-WS/SOAP Web Services

·        Maven

·        XML



*Nice to have Skillset:*

·        IBM MQ

·        WebLogic 12

·        Jenkins



*Explanation of Work*



Responsible for:

·        Works with, mentors and guides other developers to implement new
features (see below)



1)      Development environment setup

-        WebLogic setup : 12.1.3

-        Eclipse Neon setup to use

-        JMS queues/ JMS scripts for reuse

-        Branching strategy

(We need to support ESB schema even after esb hosting)

-        Data source setup(local/remote)



2)      ESB schema hosting to server.

-        Preparation

-        Need to use internal routing, esb-xml-schema hosting internal to
NMDP applications.

-        Analyze/Make coding changes if any (project structure)

-        Versioning strategy

-        Implementation

-        Testing



3)      ESB multi-module work – java 8

-        Pom dependency resolution/update

-        WebLogic and java EE descriptor : xml files for WebLogic/EJB

(Bean/spring files – header information).

-        Update to current standard and specs

(Hibernate and ORM specs, JMS specs)

-        Java 8 structures. Java Doc, Collections, Lambda expression

-        Use ESB schema hosting – jaxb, pom file to generate sources

-        Testing

-        Jenkin job changes

-        Release test

-        Maven site test



NOTE : Depending on issue encountered time may vary. Development effort to
debug such issue would be harder.

-        Dev stack environment setup

-        Middleware setup

-        Database setup

-        Code deployment : new jdbc drivers/followup code deployment.

-        Testing



4)      MMToolkit required work - Java 8

-        Error queue setup

-        Pom dependency resolution/update

-        Update to current standard and specs

(Hibernate and ORM specs, JMS specs)

-        MMToolkit testing

-        Jenkin job changes

-        Release test

-        Maven site test
