This position is critical to ensure applications are functional and
supported. Positions in this function monitor environment health and the
facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service
availability and continuity. This position will coordinate the processes
and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs.
Coordinates the efforts of all functions to complete scheduled jobs in a
timely manner. Documents all problems (hardware, application, facility,
etc.) and takes corrective action as required. This position may
participate in design activities as well as unit, performance and
regression testing.

This position will be a key member of projects from enhanced system
functionality to strategic implementation projects. This role will help
identify, define, analyze, prioritize and refine the technology
requirements, and work with cross functional IS, Business, and Partner
teams to ensure successful translation of requirements into solutions. This
role is responsible for identify operational readiness activities related
to projects and ensuring these activities are complete before transition to
operations team.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

•             Demonstrate a strong understanding of issues, including
in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, root cause and engaging appropriate
SME’s as needed to drive incident and problem management. Identify and
drive permanent solutions and improvements after root cause is identified.

•             Execute processes and activities that focus on restoring
service after an incident occurs

•             Engage vendors or other internal technical teams for
troubleshooting, as needed, to narrow down a root cause and resolution

•             Monitor application performance using various tools. Perform
system care and feeding tasks

•             Support the creation of business and functional design
specifications. Identifies gaps between solution design and application
capabilities, and determines alternatives.

•             Ensures detailed technical requirements are captured from
appropriate IS teams. Influences technical solution. Identifies gaps
between technical design system/application capabilities, and negotiates
resolution.

•             Guide vendor design work and ensure deliverables are high
quality. Ensure that proposed system changes are supported by application
vendor. Evaluate, Coordinates and/or apply vendor package and software tool
upgrades and patches.

•             Ensure support readiness prior to the deployment of any
change to the production environment

•             Provide release support for code deployments



*QUALIFICATION:*

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree -- Math, Science or Computer Science preferred
or equivalent work experience

•             Minimum 3 years of experience tier 2or 3 IT support
responsibilities for Demandware platform or 2-3 years Demandware experience.

•             Minimum 3 years of experience in analyzing, designing,
configuring and implementing complex applications and integrating vendor
packages; played a significant role in leading or managing medium to large
projects

Other Requirements:

•             Retail systems experience strongly preferred

•             Experience in working on different software development
methodologies

Experience with business modeling and requirements management tools, as
well as knowledge of project management methodologies and application
implementation methodologies.
