*Responsibilities:*

*∙ Develop new JAVA applications;*











* ∙ Enhance existing JAVA applications; ∙ Work with OIT to gather business
requirements; ∙ Provide maintenance and support for the Department’s JAVA
applications as needed; ∙ Provide project leadership, as directed by the
Department’s Contract Manager; ∙ Develop and/or enhance project and
technical documentation; ∙ Mentor Department staff in JAVA development
skills; ∙ Ensure that OIT’s Administrative Policies and Procedures (AP&Ps)
are followed; ∙ Ensure that the Department’s ISDM is followed and required
tasks are performed; ∙ Provide system analysis, design, and programming
support, and/or implementation support for applications; ∙ Transfer to OIT
staff the knowledge necessary to maintain applications referenced in this
SOW/RFQ, including technical knowledge related to the system(s); ∙ Other
tasks as determined by OIT. *
*Requirements:*

*∙ Experience with developing database driven applications in a JAVA
environment using Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE);*








* ∙ Experience with Apache Tomcat application server; ∙ Experience working
with users to gather and document business requirements; ∙ Experience with
DB2; ∙ Experience using ICEFaces Framework (preferred); ∙ Experience with
ADABASE (preferred); ∙ Experience with NATURAL (preferred); ∙ Experience
with Microsoft SQL Server (preferred); ∙ Experience with Crystal Reports
(preferred); ∙ Previous experience developing applications for the
Department’s Division of Unclaimed Property systems (preferred)*
