PowerBuilder Programmer/Analyst
Location : Houston, TX.
Experience Level - 4-10 Years
Duration - 6+ Months
Rate - ALAP
Application Developer with 4-10(+) years of PowerBuilder and Oracle Database
experience, candidate must have solid PowerBuilder development experience
using PFC. At least, 2-5 years of business programming experience in
PowerBuilder. Experience in technical writing or proposal writing is
preferred.
Responsibilities include:
. Design, develop, enhance and maintain an existing Client/Server
application written in PowerBuilder, operating on Windows.
. Develop, enhance and maintain existing database procedures,
packages in Oracle 10 g.
. Troubleshoot/Debug application codes and resolving application
problems, as well as assisting users in the utilization of applications.
Writes and maintains technical documentations, including
specifications and functional specifications.
. Write portions of test plans and be able to perform well-defined
unit, product level integration testing.
. Work with project team to fulfill requests in the project queue,
and assessing impact.
. Supports end-user clients in resolving software problems.
. Leading the team and directing the team members to wards the common
goal.
