You will perform technical review of projects, people selection, design review, development and implementation of large scale systems for financial and operational functions of the company. Manage team of on/off-shore staff for development and operations. Review and approve complex solution designs and helps develop strategic data integration direction. Select systems, tools, technologies, and processes. Define and estimate project proposals and creates technical project plans and staffing models. Responsible for identifying technical gaps, communications, and risk mitigation. Recommends, and enforces technical solutions, standards, and governance. Additional Skills/Experience/Education: Excellent technical understanding of architectural principles of data warehousing/data integration design and implementation within tight time constraints. Expertise in ETL technical development concerning leadership and management of ETL teams designing, developing, and deploying complex ETL code impacting enterprise applications such as SMP, MMP, SOA, WOA, OLAP/MLAP, OOA, Real-Time, Data Streams, and XML/UML. Expertise with technical solutions architecture and ETL design supporting multi-terabyte ETL, Data Warehousing, and/or Data Marts. Required expertise with Informatica and Oracle. Technical understanding with a variety of tools and products such as Oracle, DB2/UDB, Netezza, SQL Server, Essbase, MySQL, Web Sphere, MQ Series, and others in a UNIX/MVF distributed environment utilizing MPP/SMP and SOA architectures for large data volumes managed by tools such as Data Stage, Trillium, Unix scheduling tools, such as Control M. Advanced understanding of data modeling and design, database administration, and tuning.
