A minimum of four (4) years experience writing Java applications using Java 1.4 or above. 2. A minimum of four (4) years experience using the Java “Swing” library of GUI controls using Java 1.4 or above. 3. A minimum of four (4) years experience writing/using stored procedures with Oracle 9i (or above) SQL databases. 4. A minimum of four (4) years experience in writing Java Applications using a framework based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. 5. A minimum of two (2) years experience in developing web applications in a JEE application server environment. 6. Ability to clearly and correctly communicate in both written and spoken English. Desirable Experience: 1. Experience in OOD (object oriented development) concepts and UML (Unified Modeling Language). 2. Experience writing PL/SQL queries. 3. Experience using Rational Clear Case Version 6.0 or higher. 4. Experience using Rational Clear Quest Version 6.0 or higher. 5. Experience using Eclipse or Eclipse-based IDE (integrated development environment). 6. Experience writing JSPs (Java Server Pages). 7. Experience mentoring others in Java development techniques. 8.
