The duration of the contract would be 3-6 months. The 1st interview would be by phone; 2nd interview in-person. Because of this, candidates must be local or willing to cover their travel expenses for the interview. Note: After a minimum of 6 months on contract, our client would like the option to offer a permanent position to the consultants, should they feel that it would benefit the company. Alternatively, they may also choose to renew the contract or end it. Please be clear with your consultants that any of these options are likely, but that they need to be open to the idea of perm hire. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility is to do day-to-day operations and maintenance of Mercator EDI interfaces, as well as development of new projects assigned for the interface team. Perform system analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of Service Requests for those systems, make sure all the components are integrated together properly to deliver the business capabilities. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle. You will have opportunities to gain large project experience with EDI/Mercator, Oracle.
