End User Project Manager
Location: Boston, MA Duration: 3+ Months Rate: $50/hr. on C2C Should have an experience in a transition from 1 outsourcing vendor to another and with experience in the desktop and call center environments. Major Responsibilities: This resource will be the lead and SME for the following towers of the transition: Help desk and Desk-side support. This will also take our Refresh & Software Image SPMS process into account. This resource will manage (PM) tasks within the plan and provide oversight and status for these work treads. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple end user projects within the transition program Oversee and direct all aspects of project as needed Apply standard project management methodology/ processes/ tools Track, document, and report status to Program lead and other managers as appropriate Identify, mitigate/ resolve, escalate risks and issues Ensure completion of on-time, high quality deliverables to achieve targeted project outcomes/ milestones Qualifications Strong knowledge of help desk & desk-side support. Strong understanding of process and project management Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and workgroups Effective communications in writing and speech; high degree of initiative; team player; results-oriented; willingness to get job done Excellent time management skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple/ competing priorities Ability to effectively participate with others in large groups and meetings High degree of professionalism; ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization Experience and Education: Requires 7-10 years of IT experience with a focus on end user services management. Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time Requires solid help desk & desk-side processes & procedures Understands and manages issues & risks Organized and detailed oriented.
