*Position Description:*

*Senior Oracle/SQL Programmer *

* *

*Create and develop enhancements to the Oracle/SQL Server Database Security
Processes as well as perform functional research and deployment of existing
features and functionality within those processes.*

*Candidates for this position will need to be able to code, test, debug and
document  both new and  existing complex processes for Oracle and SQL
servers with a high level of understanding of Database Security in an
enterprise environment.*

*This is not a DBA position, but rather programming/ development. The
databases are in Oracle and SQL Servers on Windows and UNIX platforms*

* *

*Requirements:*

*Minimum 3-5 years experience programming in an Oracle 10g/SQL 2005 and
later *

*3-5 years experience developing applications in a Unix AIX and SQL Server
environment*

*1 to 2 years of experience with application or database security design*

*Minimum of 3-5 years experience administering Oracle and SQL Server
databases*

*Internal or external application or database security vulnerability
experience*

*A minimum of 3-years experience building triggers, views and other
Oracle/SQL database objects*

*Extremely Strong Oracle/SQL skills and Stored Procedure development and
enhancements *

*Previous process automation of database security *

*Proven ability to complete assigned task*

*Previous experience with a monitoring tool, not required but preferred*

*Solid written and verbal communication ability *

*The successful candidate will also have demonstrated strong organizational,
time management, and follow-up skills*

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*Automate routine maintenance tasks as appropriate for database security
processes*

*Follow policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and database
security*

*Responsible for designing the advance Oracle/SQL queries, procedure,
cursor, triggers, scripts*

*Will create and or enhance, modify Oracle/SQL code in a high volume
enterprise environment for Security Processes*

*Tests the code to ensure it functions as designed *

*Supports the implementation of code into production *

*Conduct programming analysis and evaluation for current security-related
hardware and software*

*Perform other duties as specified & required *

* *

*Knowledge Skills and Abilities:*

*Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and or at least
two or more years experience in application program development, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.   *

*3 to 5 years of combined IT and application, operating system or database
security work experience  *

*Experience in basic Oracle/SQL DBA functionality: Building tables, views,
sequences, etc.; creating users*

*3 + years in creating and executing SQL/Oracle scripts via SQL LOADER,
TOAD, SQL Assistant, SQL Plus etc*

*Skills with use of automated testing tools*

*Experience using import and export utilities, creating and using control
files*

*Knowledge of commonly-applied security principles, concepts, and
methodology's in an enterprise environment*

*Knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, access eligibility
requirements and of security incident handling policy and procedures*

*Ability to evaluate database processes and procedures to enhance security
effectiveness and productivity*

*Broad understanding of database development principals*

*Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and later and Oracle 10g
and later databases*

*SQL 2005 or later certification, Oracle 10g or later certification*

*Experience in Unix Scripting and Oracle/SQL Server Programming*

*Experience optimizing/improving performance of stored procedures *

*Experience reading bugs and database structures*

*Exceptionally good in problem analyzing, solving and troubleshooting skills
*

*Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills*

*Ability to follow all company policies and procedures as well as internal
departmental procedures*

*High level of self-motivation *
