Position :* Systems Analyst (Agile system)* Location: *Alameda**, CA*** Duration: 12 months contract (ON-SITE) * * *Primary Job Function* Defines, plans & designs client area application systems requirements for new or modified applications, in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions. Specifically, has comprehensive knowledge of Agile (Document Management/Product Lifecycle Management) system configuration and administration. Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Monitors or performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Monitors system usage to ensure adequate response time and limited downtime. * * * * *Core Job Responsibilities* Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Provide system performance optimization, maintenance and production support. Refine conceptual system requirements into a technical design consisting of job flows and program specifications, In coordination with the Project Manager, aids in the systems development process, including planning & monitoring systems development efforts, coordinating activities within other groups and other sites, reviewing deliverables and communicating to management. In specialized systems (ie. SAP) effectively set options to change the way the program works (configuration responsibilities). Evaluates existing Agile system and/or user needs to research, design, recommend, and implement changes to system architecture and deployment. Provides guidance on best practices. Installs, upgrades and maintains the Agile server environment. Monitors and evaluates Oracle database errors and runs database utilities to correct issues. Writes documentation to describe configuration, interface program development, requirements and other specifications to ensure the system is appropriately managed and maintained. Writes instructions for users to describe basic troubleshooting, installation and operating procedures.
