*Overview:*
The SAP BI Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation,
testing, and maintenance of SAP BI solutions and to evaluate business
requirements for possible utilization in SAP BW. The ideal candidate will
possess a comprehensive knowledge of *SAP BW and SAP CRM extraction
Expertise* with several reporting tools and distribution mechanisms
preferred: *SAP Business Explorer (Bex), SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) , SAP
Visual Composer*
*REQUIRED SKILLS: *

*Qualifications*
1. Must have 5+yrs technical/Functional SAP BI/SAP BW architecture
experience including:
a. Data Modeling & BW Architecture:
i. Design/Document
BW 7.0+ Architecture, Functional requirements, & Design specifications
ii. Activate/Enhance
CRM extractors to bring desired data into BW
iii. Create/Maintain
InfoCubes, Operational Data Stores (ODS), Multi-Providers, etc
iv. Identify/Update
master data, hierarchies, configuration, & transactional data
v. Activate Standard
Business Content
b. BI System Administration/Support:
i. Transport
creation, management, scheduling and troubleshooting
ii.
Prepare/Monitor/Troubleshoot/Test BI servers & BI tools (GUIs) for
testing/production
iii. Research OSS notes
to resolve problems
iv. Evaluate
new/enhanced SAP BI functionality
c. BI Reporting:
i. Develop Business
Intelligence (BI) Reports and Structures via various tools: BEx, BOBJ, BPC,
etc.
ii.
Create/Maintain/Document Queries, Workbooks, & Reports
iii. Design/Develop
efficient, reliable data access mechanisms
d. Extraction, Transformation, & Loading (ETL):
i. Create/Maintain
both BW 3.x & 7.0 ETL mechanisms: DTPs, Update/Transfer Rules, Startup
Routines, user exits, etc to support data ETL
ii. Create/Maintain
Process Chains to automate data loads
2. Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals
and statements of work
3. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
5. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
