*HI All, Please let me know if you have any one for below position. * *DataStage Consultant* *Location: Hartford, CT* *Duration: 5+ months* * * *Description:* *- Designs and develops the Enterprise Data Warehouse Strategic ETL Development Framework (SDF).* *- Leverages expertise in ETL technologies and tools to identify reusable processes within ETL requirements.* *- Designs and develops components of the SDF to support the functionality of those processes.* *- Works with other members of the development team to extend facility with the SDF to all team members.* *- Serve as a subject matter expert to projects during solutioning.* *- Identify opportunities to leverage ETL technologies to deliver business value and reduce cost.* *- Prepare estimates for project work.* *- Provide technical leadership to a small development team.* *- Ensure all projects are delivered on time within budget.* *- Performs task management and status reporting for small development team efforts.* *- Work with development managers and resource managers to secure appropriate staffing for projects.* *- Lead and mentor project teams in the design and development of ETL solutions.* *- Works closely with business and IT management to ensure solution delivery across complex business requirements and processes * *and recommend solutions across diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies, tools, purchased solutions etc.* *- Researches and evaluates Enterprise wide solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solutions to meet business strategic direction.* *- Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization.* *- Ensures analysis and system design in support of multi-business systems integration.* *- Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies, which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.* *- Enforces the utilization of accepted methodology and tools in a disciplined manner, which may include execution of key technical reviews at project gates/milestones.* *Required Skills:* *- A minimum of 5 years experience designing and developing complex ETL solutions for data warehouses using industry standard toolsets.* *- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of system design and implementation.* *- Knowledge of Industry Systems/Software Engineering processes and techniques.* *- Demonstrated expertise in the technical suite in use within the application: DB2/UDB version 8 and 9.5, AIX, IBM DataStage version 7.5, ZEKE scheduler, Clearcase, Clearquest, SQL, DB2 Stored Procedures.* *- Knowledge of other toolsets used to deliver ETL solutions is a plus (Informatica, Abinitio, SAS, etc.).* *- A minimum of 5 years experience working within structured project methodologies.* *- Experience with Healthcare payer business.* *- Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, the client area's functions and systems, and application program development alternatives.* *- Technical leadership skills.* *- Excellent communication skills.* *- Analytical ability.* *- Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff.* *- Configuration Management Tools: ClearCase.* *- GUI/Development Tools: SQL.* *- Operating System(s): AIX.* *- Program Languages: SQL.* *- Project Management Specialties: Project Documentation.* *- Required Industry Experience: 5 Years.* *- Education Level: Under Graduate Degree.* *- Project Management Specialties: Rational Suite………………Desired.* *
