Role: Core Java Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 6 + months
*Analytic Middleware Specialist:*
Senior Java developer to develop and extend JBoss middleware that collects
requests from a trader-facing GUI and communicates with databases for data
retrieval anmd with processes that manage the distribution of MBS analytics
calculations on a compute grid.
Responsibilities: Teh Candidate will play a central role in developing the
middleware described above. they will work extensively with the trading desk
in order to understand how speed requirements vary as a function of
users/tasks. They will be implementing efficient dispatch and aggregation of
analytic requests across a large compute grid.
Preferred Experience:
Candidate should have worked at a large sell side firm
supporting a trading business. (required)
Strong Development skills demonstrated through a
history of delivering significant and comples systems over at least 3 years.
(Required)
Good verbal and written communications -- candidate
will be working with Traders.
Significant experience in distributed computing
(required) with specific knowledge of developing and implementing schemes
with to speed up MBS calculations through distributed computing (Preferred)
Skills: Solid development experience in Core Java (Required) and C++(Idel)
